Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using lope, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Description of service
lope is an AI-powered running coach that connects to your Strava account to analyze your training data and provide personalized coaching feedback. The service is provided "as is" and is currently in early access.
AI coaching disclaimer
lope provides AI-generated coaching suggestions based on your training data. This is not medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting or modifying an exercise program. lope is not responsible for injuries, health issues, or training outcomes resulting from following AI coaching suggestions.
Strava data
lope accesses your Strava data through the Strava API with your authorization. You can revoke access at any time from your Strava settings.
lope caches raw Strava data temporarily (up to 7 days) and derives its own training analysis from that data. Raw Strava data is automatically purged after 7 days in compliance with Strava's API Agreement.
Third-party services
lope integrates with third-party services including Strava and Anthropic (Claude AI). These services are provided by their respective companies and are subject to their own terms:
lope makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services. Strava is a registered trademark of Strava, Inc. lope is not endorsed by or affiliated with Strava, Inc.
Account and data
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings.
If you disconnect your Strava account, all associated data is immediately and permanently deleted. This includes activities, training analysis, coaching history, and profile information.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, lope and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, training progress, or coaching insights, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
